everything looking good here?

Go to solution Solved by Imakuni,

I've got about 30min boost with the memory adjustment, so... yeah. Probably worth your time.

As for OCIng... well....... that's complicated. It's like tripping and breaking a bone; it likely won't happen, until it actually happens. So long as no WUs crash, you should be fine.

just started folding last night. firstly, i can't believe it was so easy to setup and start doing. does everything look ok here? also how strictly is not ocing you gpu for folding recommended? i don't have the biggest oc as you see. I have also read about the memory on the 900s card not clocking up to its full spec, should i do the nvida inspector thing and would it make that much of a difference? I have also set my folding for the LTT team but, some of my wu went to other teams is this normal? they seem to be going to the right team now. might this be because of my name choice? i don't mind giving other teams the wu's, its all for a good cause. thank you for you input

nice, i tripped and broke a bone. Ill do the memory increase tonight and let it run while i sleep. thank you

1) Maxwell is all sorts of broken/inefficient when it comes to folding, its par for the course. Sorry.

2) What core type is the GPU running in that screen shot? 43K PPD is surprisingly low for a 970, on a bad day it should be getting just under 80K, and in a best case scenario like 250K.

3) It is possible someone is using the same username as you, there have been reports of it in the past. As long as the points you are earning are going to the right team at the moment, then I wouldn't worry about it.

i think they were  4 somthing for cpu and 16 or lower for gpu currently its  0xa4 for cpu and 0x15 for gpu. the name thing is one someone else used off/on it seems.  2h 45min for cpu , 3h 28 for gpu, just started them.

Edit i can make pics if its easier just tell what to take, and i don't have 10 wu so i'm not getting bonus points would this cause that disparity.

Core 15 makes sense, its an older, outdated core that doesn't support bonuses anyway. You won't really know what your GPU is capable of until you get an 0x17. Also, For CPU folding the client doesn't play nice with odd numbers of cores, that's why CPU usage is at 99% even though only 3 cores are assigned. This will be important once you get 0x17 and 18 units because they require an unused core to prevent bottle-necking the GPU, so you may need to drop it down to 2.

ok cool, thanks for the tip. I was going to ask about the core 3 thing. Temps/coil aren't nearly as bad as i thought they would be. The 3d model is bees knees too. Thanks for the help.
