bitlocker drive encryption crack (please, help)

my computer was shared by a younger brother and it seems like he has turned on bitlocker drive encryption and it now requests a password at boot- he doesn't know the password nor do I. Is there anyway I can unlock it- the drive is a wd scorpio (laptop) and it has about 120gb used- i could do with the laptop running for tonight- thanks for help in advance

They make yo u save it to your micros ft account and a file on your computer.

if you don't have those, or remember your passsword, we can't help you

dude read it- he turned on bitlocker drive encrypiton- it comes up blue with a password- no usb

You're best contacting microsoft directly. If they say it can't be done, it can't be done. Let this be a lesson to always back up your data!

There is absolutely nothing unfortunately. Full disk encryption, unless you are a certain governmental entity with access to secret backdoors and supercomputing power, is impossible to break

 

Next time it's advisable to create a Non-Admin account for your younger brother to use.

I managed to get the o/s back since it was a multi user license and I had a little bit on a cloud drive so it wasn't to bad.- thnks for help anyways
