What do you mean by the motherboard supporting it and I currently have a Intel pentium p6200

 

If you can change out the processor on the laptop since it's socketed then yeah it will work in most cases, but as for the PSU that depends how much overhead the previous PSU had in place do you know the specs of the previous PSU brick we can give you a better estimate with the voltages and amps.

Hmm you might be pushing the limits of that power brick it's max wattage is around 65W so it could only have enough power for the CPU basically, since you don't want to push those power pricks to 100% usually around 80-90% max capacity. You would need a new power brick that has the same output voltage of 20V but with higher amps, I would suggest something >4.5amps to give it around 90W to provide some good overhead.

 

20V*3.25A= 65W
