4160 vs g3258

Go to solution Solved by IMPERIUS,

Take the i3, its hyperthreading and 4 more threads are way more useful in gaming. Also you can take a cheaper mobo and can use stock cooling while for the pentium you need a z97 mobo and a cooler. Combined the extra cost of those things vs an i3 and a h81 mobo I bet you get a better deal with that

which one is better 4160 or g3258

How much watt overclocked g3258 to 4.4 is going to take? (Not exactly it's lottery)

and can i overclock g3258 on asus b85m-k

I think the g3258 will do better for gaming.

$ per performance, its insane.
