Hey, thanks for reading this!

First of all my rig,

Cpu: AMD-FX8120

Mobo: Asus M5A97

Cpu Cooler: Corsair H55

the other stuff isn't important for overclocking.

Okay so I want to overclock but since I know absolutely nothing about overclocking I need your help.

I want to overclock my cpu so it runs medium temp but good performance, and stable meaning no crashes.

If anyone knows good settings then please comment below!

Thanks again for reading this!

Do not overclock on that motherboard. It only has a 4+2 power phase which cannot handle a 8120 overclocked.

Agreed, it's not the best motherboard for overclocking. I was going to choose this motherboard at first, but someone steered me away, telling me it wasn't good for overclocking, much less even handling my FX-6300... But there are success stories on the internet.  The Corsair H55 is enough to cool the CPU.
