do i have enough watts with a 550 watt psu


 


because the nzxt sentry mix 2 uses 30 watt per channel max or does the fan only take like 10 watt from it max?

pc part picker calculates wattages for you. As a rule of thumb, you should use only around 40%- 70% of the PSU wattage so you should probably get around a 700W PSU

the fan controller takes the power it needs for all the fans from 2 molex connectors and then you can regulate how fast the fans are going to spin, but it will only use 30W under max load

with 550 or 650?

it depends on your budget. If you have the extra pennies and electricity bills aren't too much to worry about you can get the 650W version, just for the lower chance of having to upgrade the PSU if you decide to upgrade your build
