Microphone Auto-Adjusting

My microphone keeps auto-adjusting. I've tried many things such as setting Skype, Steam, and Curse Voice to NOT auto-adjust volume. I've tried setting Windows to NOT allow applications to take exclusive control of this device. Could it be that I'm on an AMD motherboard? Here are my specs
AMD FX8320-asus m5a78l-m lx plus-HyperX Blu 8GB 1600mhz RAM-GTX 760 Superclocked
Basically those are the important specs. My Microphone is the Logitech G430 and this issue has happened with my G35 and Steelseries Siberia V3.
