so as the title states I am currently trying to decide on a video card. I have the rest of the build complete, I am simply waiting on the funds as it is a pricier component. The games I play on PC are not AAA titles, they are simple games such as heavily modded minecraft, league, cs go, old batman games and indie games. I do not have a very demanding selection as I purchase all of my AAA titles on a ps4 (what can I say it's a gift and it's great). So for those selections, what card should I get? I need to go with Nvidia due to the fact I have a measly 450w power supply (mistake I know). Knowing this, any suggestions?

wait under June when new cards hit and maybe the 970 price will drop. Then check again. Don't but anything now trust me you will kick yourself when what you buy now is way cheaper a couple months from now.

I would get a 270x or 750 ti, but with $250 you can get a 290 on sale(overkill, but you could play more demanding games in the future. Up to you.).

270x - $140 after mail in rebate - would like to point out this is about the same as 760, for $20 more than the 750 ti. Probably even less on a good sale.

280x - $190 after instant and Mail in rebates.

290 - $250 after mail in rebate - same as 780 sometimes 780 ti

Feel free to look around, maybe even wait for sales after you decide what card you want.

Also, highly recommend http://slickdeals.net/
