VPN and Privoxy

Hello Ladies and Gents.

 

I am trying to set up a VPN along with Privoxy, I have tried a few programs but the two I have had some what success with are Hamachi and Zerotier.

I have found Hamachi to be quite unstable. At times I have had to reset Hamachi on BOTH the host and client machines when switching networks on the client machine. I have also had to un-check and re-chech sharing options such as File Sharing and Screen Sharing for the machines to talk to each other again. Although I cannot get Printer Sharing to work

I then tried ZeroTier which pretty much works flawlessly apart from I cannot use the Screen Sharing option in OS X. However the printer sharing option does work. I decided I could do without Screen Sharing.

Lastly Privoxy, I cannot get Zerotier to route through Privoxy where as Hamachi will without a issue. Also I'm not sure I could even get ZeroTier on iOS.

Do any of you have suggestions on VPN software that works well, that can be routed through Privoxy and preferably ran on iOS?
