Since Linus uses XSplit, I was wondering if it was somehow better than Open Broadcaster Software, which is what I am using currently.

Aside from maybe sponsorship, is there a reason why Linus uses XSplit rather than OBS?

Which is better in your opinion and why? Let's say price doesn't matter here.

When I started my streaming experiments, I started with Xsplit. I got really frustrated with it and gave up on it. Switched to OBS and it just worked and was way more pleasant to work with. Been using OBS ever since. I did try Nvidia ShadowPlay at one point, though, but its still far from Xsplit and OBS levels of usable.
