hey guys well yea i had a scythe mughen 2.....and well i had cut open the heatpipes to link them together to form a ghetto waterblock since alot of the waterblocks are really expensive haha

and well ik heat pipes has a gas/liquid in them which allows them to transfer heat....does anyone know what i can put back? im guessin it has to have a low boiling pt....prob like 40*c or sumn not sure....and what is the original fluid? tht wud be in heat pipes?

You can put water in if you want, But it really should be sealed in a vacuum whilst the fluid is boiling. I would try and find something that boils a bit before water though. Acetone boils around 50°C and Ethanol is around 80°C Water is obviously 100°C. Go for something that is going to boil before your optimal temperature preferably. If you use water boiling in a vacuum whilst sealing it is recommended. You might get away with Acetone but without some sort of "Negative Pressure" it won't be as effective.

replace it with acetone (found in nail varnish remover). do it while the heatpipes are hot, and the stuff allmost boils. just before it starts to boil, hammer the pipes shut.

I've looked into this before. it is not just ordinairy water, and you need to have negative pressure.

but do be carefull, it's nasty stuff ;)
