No idea about it working on all browsers. YouTube do staggered rollouts of things like this, to 10% (no idea of the actual number) of users at once. I'm guessing somehow my not-logged-in incognito tab lucked out and got the updated version for some reason.

 

Biggest change I've noticed is no stupid popup window to copy video URL by right clicking on the video holy crap that bugged me so much
