The ECS motherboard is NOT a recommended motherboard^^ (I've heard nothing but horror stories from this brand) :/

Also, see if you can find a 80+ verified PSU and the rest is OK.

here would be my idea of a $500 build.

quick note- the athlon x4 750k is an unlocked A10-5800k with out the graphics part.

edit- here would be a more performance oriented version http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1eGVR

cooler master power supplies aren't very good(V series is an exception) and western digital has a 1tb hard drive for $10 cheaper. Also look at the 7770 ghz editions a better price might be their.

Here is my tweaked version of it- http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1eHcL

With such a low budget I would recommend dropping it to a 4GB kit instead. A Thermaltake V3 with a powersupply and ditch the optical drive if you don't need it.

8gb fits into the budget so I don't see why not. Also the thermaltake case+psu would be more expensive than a corsair cx430 and the antec case.
