Choosing a good PSU
The other products in the aurum gold series use 105c japanese caps. But they don't use them on the aurum s series PSUs. Can't find the link but saw that there are capxon or teapo caps. They don't even advertise that they use japanese 105c caps on the aurum s 500.

The AS-550 uses 105C NCC KZE on the secondary side. There seem to be a Rubycon (Japanese) in there as well. They don't advertised them on their site either on the 550w model. I did made a mistake, however. The Aurum S does not used an FDB fan but rather a sleeve bearing fan.
Up to you. They are both budget oriented power supplies, but one has better caps and efficiency, while the other has a better fan. Both of them are group-regulated, so don't except great voltage regulation off of either of them.
