While building i bent a pin in the hd audio socket by accident. I used a flat screwdriver to bend it back, it fits now. I have two questions. I may have scratched the pin while bending it back, how bad is that? Also does bending a pin back work? will the pin perform like it should?

Thanks.

It'll work fine. I completely snapped off the header of the usb3 on my motherboard and bent all of the pins. I bent them back and it works fine.

@zappian Bent her socket pins and the pc would not boot. The pins were bent back and the pc now works fine.

OP isn't talking about socket pins... <-- But that's kind of irrelevant.
