good 1000$ builds

OK so I have 1000$ saved up in Canadian and i was wondering what the best computer for gaming i could make.

~as long as it doesn't look like a toaster and a cereal box duct taped together, I don't really need a fancy case

~as long as it doesn't sound like a power drill I don't need noise insulation

~as long as it doesn't it isn't 400 degrees above, it is ok if it is hot.

~i need at least 12GB of ram for 3D rendering

~i want a dedicated graphics card

~would be nice to have a SSD but not needed.

Thanks if you were able to help!

trust me when i tell you, they are not overrated

once i got mine, i will never ever ever ever go back to 100% mechanical, not even if it is 2 drives in RAID

Considering you mentioned 3d rendering, I would shoot for a better CPU. I think this offers the best balance of workstation to gaming performance:

Its 1.2k CAD, however , you cant go wrong with this one, and i am sure for this list if you try different sites for some parts you could end up squeezing a little more, trust me some times a little price diffrence make a huge impact on your reg!

Here's what I would call a good baseline, at least for CAD. For 3D rendering, I threw in a Xeon and 16GB of memory. I think the R9 280x will do alright. Modifications to the list can definitely be made, and I'd encourage you to do so based on your needs/preferences. For example, you can go with a cheaper motherboard or CPU in favor of more storage or video card performance. I'm sorta prioritizing the 3D rendering in this parts list (as it sits).

Oops, this is the revised one. I didn't see that you were in Canada, you said that you did rendering as well so I switched it to Xeon and downgraded the GPU a bit.
