Q6600 & 560ti

Hi, I'm on a small budget and thinking about getting a Q6600 and a 560ti.

It would work but, I think you can't expect to get any more frames than 30+ on med maybe high?

Get a pentium G3258 and a Radeon 7770 if your budget is that low

@Liamcal that build that linus built was pretty decent by that part 3 video and I wouldn't play all games at 1080p anyway

With this budget you cannot expect to play 1080p

To be honest £199 for what you're getting there... that's quite expensive.

 

If you were to shop used on auctions you'd probably get a better deal.

Why do you need want to do upgrade?

Very noticeable bottleneck unless you overclock the Q6600 to like 3.2GHz.

I had a Q6600 with a GTX 560 (non-Ti) and it was a massive bottleneck in any remotely intensive games like Battlefield multiplayer, for example.

you can do better than that for £200 a 7950 and a core 2 quad + board+ ram shouldn't be too hard.

plenty to go at there. i would go for the msi P45 bundle first with the asus 7950
