Hey guys and gals, I have been looking to purchase a new monitor considering I've just started a new computer build.

So I'm hoping that maybe y'all can guide me here.

I am looking for recommendations on a 1080p monitor with an IPS panel and very low response time. about 27 inches in size and has at least one display port and one HDMI port. also over 60 refresh rate is more than welcome.

my max budget is about $350 USD.

Links would be ideal.

Please and thank you.

60 Hz and 75 Hz monitors are both in the link - I couldnt find any decent 120Hz or 144Hz monitors at 1080p via pcpartpicker: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/Q4Ytbv

EDIT: oh ya, and I'd swap out that SSD to another brand if possible, v300 not so reliable

about that ssd, i've heard that story too, i went with crucial BX100 250 Gb, it works great :D have it for 1,5 months

I am eyeballing the Asus VN279QL 27.0" Monitor

Do you happen to have any personal experience with this monitor?

You know I heard something about Kingston drives not being the best but I've already ordered it : / I guess I'll just order a new one and return the Kingston.

I do not have any personal experience with the monitor. I generally think ASUS makes great monitors, but that one specifically I chose because I remember it mentioned a few times as particularly nice, as well as OC'able past 75 Hz to like 98 or something
