You dont?

It's also beneficial to have a little extra graphics horsepower in a game like BF4 where your framerate inevitably dips quite a bit.

Can someone please tell me way I need to buy two graphics cards when I can run 1440p at 70fps Ultra Far Cry 4?

With a single GTX 970?

Why ? ,, ,Total joke waste of money guys

This is exactly the kind of topic where people just post to collect posts or start fights.

And to ease your mind... you can´t play FC4 ULTRA in 1440p with a single GTX970. I needed for that 2 GTX980 in SLI... so nice try but keep trolling else where, thank you.

There are many people who can justify buying 2 high end GPUs, but at the same time they know it's not the best price to performance.

Lots of games run perfectly fine on 1 gpu, and there are other games that just aren't good enough on 1 gpu.
