Great build. Looks really solid. I do like 2TB of storage, but otherwise it looks really great.

Also, the Gigabyte G1 Graphics card might be better for the GTX 970. But opt for the STRIX if you want fanless mode.

Happy Building! :D

Great build, no problems whatsoever. Personally, I would go for the G1 Gaming GTX 970 or an EVGA GTX 970.

Happy building! :)

Any ideas for a case? Preferably a black mid tower with no window? :)

Fractal Design R5 - a great looking case that is silent and accommodates 5.25" bays

Corsair 200R is the one that comes to my mind :) it's not that expensive either, great build quality.

EDIT: Fractal Design R5 is another good option.

I would get try to get a 16GB RAM kit (2x8GB) because with 2x4GB if you ever want to upgrade the RAM, you have to get a second 2x4GB kit, and then your motherboard is out of slots and will only have 16GB RAM, when it can handle 32GB. Although if your budget allows it, you can get 2x8GB RAM sticks, and later if you need an upgrade, get another 2x8GB sticks and max out your motherboard.

I have a 200R, and is very good, many spots for fans, and nice corsair quality!

What about a 350D and a different mobo?

It all depends on what you plan on doing. A cheaper motherboard will not generally change system performance, it will only take away some features that more expensive boards have.

What about a 350D and a different mobo?

It's all personal preference. I would recommend either NZXT, Corsair (which you've chosen), or Fractal Design as they are all great case makers (I might have left some good ones out).

Mobo is also about personal preference. If you like one companies BIOS (I love ASUS), then go with them. If you like their aesthetics/features, go with it. Mobo won't boost PC performance, no matter how much money you throw at it.
