What should I get for $1000? It's pretty much for just gaming. I live in the US. Would like a mid tower without a window. I don't need peripherals or a monitor, but I do need a copy of windows. Also I can get an h100i for $50. I haven't made a list in quite a while so I want to see people's suggestions for my build.

Thanks

Obviously some adjustments can be made...you can get Windows cheaper elsewhere, but there is plenty of room(funds wise) to add it and remain under budget.

If you live near by a micro Center go with this.

CPU: Intel Core i7-4790K 4.0GHz   279.99

MOBO:  Gigabyte GA-H97M-D3H LGA1150  44.99

Ram: Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB DDR3-1600   57.99

Hard Drive: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7,200 RPM SATA III   49.99

Video Card:  MSI GeForce GTX 970 Overclocked 4GB Video Card   339.99

Case:  Thermaltake V3 Black Edition ATX Mid 37.99

PSU:  Corsair CX Series CX600M 600 Watt   69.99

Total:  880.93

Tax: 66.07

Grand Total:  947.00

MicroCenter will price match so you can probably get it even lower.  The motherboard + CPU  is a combo deal that 40.00 comes off the mobo which I already included in the price.
