I decided to daisy chain my router's instead of setting one in repeater mode since it was too much work,issue is my second router cant access the internet as far as i know i am supposed to change the ip on it to 168.1.2 since the one its chained to is 1.1 but that dosent work.Also how do i access the second one connected to my pc through my pc.

 

Main router is a 

 
  1. Netgear JWNR2010
  2. Netgear WNR1000

I think you mean cascade. What models are the routers? Are you running custom firmware on them like DD-WRT? Did you disable DHCP on the 2nd router?

nah both came with that crap netgear firmware,i never bothered changing to ddwrt due to time constraints.

Yeah, I have a Netgear router that I have DD-WRT on, could never stand that garbage. It would be easier IMO to flash DD-WRT then cascade the routers using their guide here.

I know how to flash DD-WRT but time is a issue for me,that netgear ui crap tough.tough. Altough can you atleast offer a temp fix until i flash it,my mom's pissed since she cant access the internet in the living room.

I honestly have no clue how to cascade Netgear router, but I found a PDF with instructions that seems to work for some people.
