Setting up a server

Okay so, I bought a dell poweredge 1950 server about a month ago and since it's my first time messing with servers, don't really know where to start out from. I have a windows server 2008 disc I burned to use for os installation, but my problem is that when it hits the part where you select the drive to install to, there's no drive at all even though there's two 73gb sas hard drives installed in raid 0 and 1. I haven't configured anything though so maybe there's something in the bios/settings that I'd have to edit for them to be recognized? I read about having to set up raid or whatever but of course don't know how to do that.
