I FINALLY finished building my new computer w/ a FX-6300 & a Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 REV4. It booted up just fine. Now i just need to install an OS.

But i have a few questions. 1, is there a way or a need to update the motherboard? I didn't get a DvD drive.  And 2, it says it doesn't detect a system fan.. but all the fans (To my knowledge) are working just fine in the case. CPU stays at around 44-55C at idle.

Once i install an OS, what drivers should i look to install?

No need to update the motherboard unless its outdated and needs a BIOS update.

All your manuals should have a link to the driver installation website if they have one (GPU MOBO etc.)

You will need to install it on a flashdrive from another computer if there is a LAN driver you need to install

When it says it doesn't detect a system fan, is it referring to a CPU fan? Because when I built my PC the same message was popping up because didn't have a fan plugged into the CPU fan header, so I just plugged one of them into there instead and my computer stopped freaking out.

Update/Install drivers for motherboard, gpu, keyboard, mouse, headphones, or anything else you can think of.

No. The CPU fan is working fine, it's plugged in. I mean a SYSTEM FAN. That's what it says on the BIOS.

The motherboard is (Sadly) used. If it was outdated how would i update it?

IF it is used then it shouldnt be a problem. I dont recommend updating BIOS unless you really absolutely need it and it is not allowing you to use your PC at all since BIOS updates are relatively small. IF all your hardware is supported then dont upgrade it.

And do all your fans run? and are they plugged into your motherboard instead of your PSU or external fan control system?

All of the fans are plugged in into the motherboard. The case i use only has 1 fan & it's plugged into SYS_FAN. CPU fan is in the CPU fan plugged in as well.
