How To Fix My RAM

Go to solution Solved by HellerTech,

You won't see a lot of difference between 667 and 800MHz but stilll worth checking out.

Changed it so I'm now running at 1600Mhz and everything is working fine :D Thanks for your help!!

Today I ran the 3DMark Demo from steam and in my results I noticed something is wrong with my RAM's current speed. I have 8gb/(2x4gb) of Mushkin Silverline 1600MHz RAM and my motherboard is an MSi H81M-E33 Micro ATX board which I purcheased like a month ago. In the 3DMark results it says my ram is only running at 667 MHz -.-. So, my question is, where to I go into the BIOS to adjust my RAM speed/clock thing to make them run at their full potential? Thank You -- Heller post-163753-0-80107600-1427564700_thumb.

It's Double Data Rate, so the RAM is running at 2x the speed indicated.

However, this is still 1333MHz. Go into your BIOS and check the speeds and XMP profiles.

Ok :) I'll take a look, who knows I may have been running for like a whole year with not full RAM potential -_-
