Will this RAM be compatible?

Go to solution Solved by LogicalDrm,

The size might be ok, but I wouldn't risk it. The speed is definetly too much. I've read about cases where PC wouldn't boot because mobo didn't support ram speed.

I currently have a i3-530 processor with a stock HP motherboard and I just got some Kingston Hyperx 16 GB (2X8GB) 1866 MHz for a build that I'm hopefully going to start soon. My question is if the ram will be compatible with my current processor and motherboard since on the specs website it says that the max ram will be with a 4X4GB configuration. I am also wondering if the 1866 MHz will work with the processor, since Intel's website says to use 1066 or 1333 MHz.
