I've recently tried to  plug my pc back in after I opened it up when i heard something rattling inside. It turned out to just be a screw that fell out, so I put the side panel back on and tried to plug it pack into the monitor. Instead of working, it just says no signal input. I've tried to turning the computer on and off, as well as the monitor, and tried using dvi and hdmi inputs from the motherboard and graphics card, but still nothing. The computer is turning on, since all of the fans and lights are coming on, but the graphics card (gtx 730 w/heatsink) doesn't seem to be heating up, which i think is the problem. it might be fried. Can anyone help me?

what i would do is first take out the graphics card plug video into the motherboard and see if it works

if it does then your car might be dead

if it does not your mb might be fried so try testing it outside of the case (sometimes the case can cause interference

I also forgot to mention that I did try using the motherboard's input, and it still didn't work

You may have a dead motherboard then, try getting the Bios to post without the GPU plugged in. Also you better be doing this all with the PSU unplugged from the wall when moving the hardware around.

back again to post results (Don't worry, i;m not stupid enough to leave the psu plugged in while moving it) Sad to say that it might be the motherboard at fault here. Tried taking the gpu out and putting it back in, and it didn't work. but I also tried testing it while the gpu was out since I have an A8-6600k with an integrated gpu built in, and it still din't work. I'm going to take the gpu to a local computer store to have them test it later this weekend, and if works fine then i'll know it's the motherboard that's fried.

Could you let me know what Mobo you have? I could see if this is a known issue, and save you a trip to the local repair shop, just to have them ask the same questions we are :)

Well that sucks, but at least a FM2 motherboard is cheaper then a GPU.

Very strange. I have not found known issues about the Mobo, and it seems like a nice board.

Try to find out what you did to take out the screw. (did you disconnect anything? did you have to take out the GPU?, etc.)

If anything was disconnected, try reseating any cable that you had disconnected, and if you took out the GPU at all, reseat it.

If nothing works, attempt to disconnect every but important things. (CPU, PSU, RAM)

If this does not work, Attempt to reseat your CPU, and reset the BIOS by removing the CMOS battery and replacing it after 5 min.

also, if your mobo uses a jumper for the bios, simply remove it, boot it, then turn it off and replace it.

Thank you for looking this up! I'll try this tomorrow and let you know how it goes :)
