Arial for typing and web browsing. The Helghast font pack is pretty epic too. I have it somewhere and its thr only font I try to hold onto between systems/OS'.

Verdana is my favorite.

One pet peeve of mine is fonts where letters look too similar, such as lower case l and upper case I, number 0 and letter O. I hate fonts that do that. This font is specifically designed to not have that issue. :)

Verdana does look fantastic.

Arial does have a nice look to it, and pretty much everyone is used to it, even if they don't know it.
