Getting Screen Dimensions and DPI from Screen Diagonal Measure

Take your diagonal length and divide it by square root of the sum of one and the aspect ratio squared to find the vertical height. Multiply the vertical height by the aspect ratio to get horizontal length.

Kind of random. But the irony is that I have a paper in front of me where I was working out monitor dimensions for myself yesterday  :P. Who needs sheets when you can derive it yourself!
