I have a h81m-h 1.1 and the voltage is locked at a max of 1.2 I have searched for solutions but I am clueless on how to bios mod and someone elses solution of using tweaker tool also did not work, right now i can probably get 4.1ghz stable with 0 crashes, I used to run 4.5ghz but it woudl blue screen about once every two days and I'm a heavy user and foudn 4.1 to be the max I got without any stability issues... so if I buy a z87/z97 board what kind of clock would I be able to squeeze from my g3258... I was hoping for 5ghz but idk if thats doable on my corsair h60.

Yeah.. Not much point upgrading just the motherboard for that Dual Core cpu, might as well get a proper quad core CPU(i5/i7) with a new motherboard.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 3700x / GPU: Asus Radeon RX 6750XT OC 12GB RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x16GB DDR4-3200
MOBO: MSI B450m Gaming Plus NVME: Corsair MP510 240GB / Case: TT Core v21 PSU: Seasonic 750W / OS: Bazzite
