For a little background this is my first time building an enthusiast class build on my own so silly issues are likely to come up.  Although thanks in large part to these forums and Linus videos they were kept pretty minimal so thanks for that.  Great community.

But let's get to my issue is with my mouse.  It is a Razor Naga Epic and I have it in the wired configuration as in the wire is plugged in and the software option within the Razor software.  Upon starting up my system and loading into windows it does not power up.  Its lights are off.  It doesn't move.  Pretty much as if the mouse itself wasn't plugged in.  Once I unplug the mouse and plug it back in it lights up good as new and absolutely zero problems.  I can even reboot the system.  As long as the mouse doesn't power completely down in something like a complete cold power down where it loses all juice for a while.

Here is what I tried:

-First thing was to re-install drivers, update drives, and make sure software setting were correct.

-I tried using a different USB plug (2.0s, 3.0s, back on the main board and front of the case).  I also replaced the mouse cable between the mouse and the board (I had an extra).

-Then I tried to use a Death Adder I had just to see if it was possible I had a toasted mouse.  It had the same issues, again, on different USB ports, with re-installed drivers/settings.

-After that I went over to my wife's PC and tired both mouses.  They worked perfectly at start-up and throughout.

-Finally I did some re-installing of Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0 software and Microsoft .NET 4 clinet profiles after a Google search to still come up dry.

While this isn't a death blow to the system it is annoying as hell.  Any help would be amazing!

Thanks!
