Question about HyperX Cloud

I got the HyperX Cloud just a week ago and I have a problem with it but I don't know if it was meant to be like this or not.

The aluminium thing that goes into the headband kind of "dances" inside, I can move the part I marked to the sides and diagonally, and the earcup will move too.

is this supposed to be like this?

I don't know how to explain it, but, the aluminium thing that I marked in the picture moves inside the headband, like it's not fixed inside. I really don't know how to explain it , haha

It's not. It's supposed to move like that so it's adjustable.

It can be a little loose sometimes, but nothing super bad. So yes, it is supposed to be like that.

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

Yeah, I know it's supposed to move so it's adjustable, but it's kind of loose and moves to the sides too. Well, I'm glad it's not a problem, I really didn't want to return them.

How far to the sides? The metal band moving to the sides does not sound right to me O_o
