I've been getting random blue screens while gaming. It says it may be hardware related but everything is running just fine. i just re seated my GPU and Ram but it still randomly does it. its only when gaming though, i can sit and do daily stuff on the internet and other stuff just fine. Can someone please help me with this? If you need any screen shots or files just ask and ill get em for you. Thanks in advance.

What game are you playing theres a direct x bug that is plaguing the new battlefield game if this is your issue it may be as simple as a driver update that was released this week.I have seen many people mention it causing bsod and strange lines in game. If not i wish you luck figuring it out, more info would be needed for any help though.

Good start -If you have anything overclocked turn it back to stock, make sure all your drivers are up to date as well as your bios. see if it still errors

So the only thing i have OC'ed is my processor. But heres the wierd thing.. its only in that game it blue screens. I tried playing some bf4, far cry 4 and DCUO and they run fine. So could it be issues between my card and somethin with that specific game? I googled bfbc2 bsod and found multiple people that had the same problem but never could really figure out why.

Try stress testing each component and see if it errors out of game. Check your drivers are up to date. if it still only does it in one particular game after you have tested everything then i would assume its something to do with that game. Although in your prior post you mentioned 2 games that caused it no? If its just battlefield try the new driver that was released this week if you haven't yet  the old driver is said to cause direct x error in the new battlefield game.

I stress tested my gpu and it ran fine, like usual. What should i use for my cpu and ram? Im pretty sure it has something to do with the game beings that all my components are only like a year old. But ya never know.

windows memory diagnostic or memtest86 will work fine for ram most reccomend prime 95 for cpu but be careful it can be unfriendly to new cpu chips i prefer passmark myslef they have a 30 day trial on thier webpage

Okay ill give those a try tomorrow, i gotta get off for the night. I hope it has nothing to do with my hardware since i dont really have the funds to replace any of it. Fingers crossed. Thanks for you help.

So i let the tests run for a good 30 minutes or so since thats about how long it takes for me to get a bsod in BFBC2 and everything was fine, temps on everything were normal. So i have an idea that it might be my hard drive failing.. im gonna install the game on my ssd and see if itll work.

Possible but if it were the drive i think you would notice it besides just in game. If it does it on the ssd as well get the nvidia driver removal tool make sure al remnants anywhere on pc are gone and re install a fresh driver (newest ofc) and eliminate that possibility
