Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this but I would like help.

No, I'm not a "laptop peasant" I have a main desktop pc for gaming, etc. But I would like a laptop to stream movies/ put on my TV easily and maybe some casual gaming.

I am looking for the cheapest alternative possible.

If anyone has any good laptops that they would recommend that would be great.

I don't really want to go over $400 as it's not for anything major

Thankyou

For what you have listed you want to do with it I would maybe suggest a Shield Tablet. It has a decent starting size, and good specs with excellent streaming quality. Between grid and steam streaming(GTX card required) your gaming options are endless. It has a SD card slot for expansion and I find that with the shield controller games handle quite nicely. The tablet itself is in your price range and if you want the controller you can always order it later. Also there are several used ones on eBay at reasonable rates. I prefer the portable myself but the screen size makes watching movies feel like its happening on your phone.

FOR THE WAFFLES!!!

All of their $400 laptops are very weak in processing power.

@Halbo You're better off buying a decent laptop from a major retailer such as amazon, newegg, bestbuy, tiger direct, etc.
