Second look at galaxy alpha?

Hey, I was wondering what your opinions were on the galaxy alpha. It has supposedly been discontinued, but for the time being it is down from its MSRP of $650US to $320. When it was released, it was just before the note 4, so everyone ignored it as not being good enough to replace an s5 for the same price. Now that the S5 mini has been released for $430, they have put themselves in a weird place for a few months. What do you guys think?
