charging on plane

Gregas

I will be flying back to the UK soon, I have found that on the plane ac power ports are provided. They limit it to 75 W, my laptop charger is more than this (aorus x3), if I attempt to charge the port will shut off.

Does anyone know how to get around this? For example using a lower W charger, is that safe?

You could temporarily disable the GPU and set it to power savings mode so it would be drawing the lowest amount of power possible from the socket.
