windows 10 Pro Preview to regular preview

Soo...For some reason my pc is on the 10  Pro tech preview but my windows 7 oem key is home premium.

when windows 10 offically launchs will i be able to upgrade from 10 pro preview to regaluar  10,

or will it have to be clean install.

You're asking if you can do a upgrade install vs a clean install?

Truth: Probably, honestly wont know until it actually launches.

#truuf: Why would you want to? When you do a upgrade install you ARE leaving fragments of the previous OS behind that the new OS may, or may not, replace. Not only that, your software/drivers have a HIGH possibility of not working right through a upgrade install.

Please spend as much time writing your question, as you want me to spend responding to it.  Take some time, and explain your issue, please!

So you're asking "I have Windows 7 Home Premium, which version of Windows 10 will I get as my free upgrade?"

We don't know anything about versions of Windows 10 yet. Nor do we know anything about the "free upgrade" paths. So no one can give you a answer, anything anyone would say is pure speculation.

Please spend as much time writing your question, as you want me to spend responding to it.  Take some time, and explain your issue, please!

my moms netbook when i did the windows update method got a windows 10 tech preview, but when i had done via iso way back before windows update i got 10 pro tech preview 

but my key is not a pro soo xD
