CPU For rendering need help!

Heey,

 

Could you guys please help me pick a cpu, im a youtuber and i want a fast cpu for rendering but i just dont know what cpu i need to pick, can someone please help me???

 

My budget is around the 200 till 300$ mark, if tis inst possible than just say what i need in the cpu. My motherbord is a MSI H81M-P33

Either 4690k for $240 dollar or a 4790k for $340. I would save up for a 4790k though it's a better choice for video editing.

if you mean a cpu as in a full computer, then $300 won't cut it for what you want to do.

i5 4690K or a xeon. ( This xeon could work http://pcpartpicker.com/part/intel-cpu-bx80646e31240v3just keep in mind that xeons don't come with integrated graphics, whereas most i3/i5/i7s do.)

 

Though it really depends on what mobo you have.

Grab a Xeon E3-1230-V3.  It has 4 cores and 4 virtual cores and is fully compatible with the H81 motherboard.  The cost should be under $300 easily.

jk... I see what you are saying, but the buyer here is not looking to "future-proof".  He/she just wants faster render times.
