Making a blog, name?

Hey guys.

I've been wanting to make a blog for fairly long, I have a lot of stories that I just write and delete or share on few forums,

because I have a need to type down what happens in my life.

 

The topic for the forum would be the following 3 things

• Anime
• Personal life (issues, stories about love, hardships and things that just happens in my life)
• Tech (I am already doing reviews but also general tech talk and sharing my opinion)

I just cannot find a name that I find fitting, trying to come up with a name the fills these 3 criteria 

 

• Unique
• Catchy
• Easy to remember

In general I want to share my life with others, maybe help others that have been in the same situation or may still be in a situation that they dislike and don't know what to do.

Here is a litle text(something that I wrote some time ago)

 

The Feeling that never escaped

We first meet at the bus station, I had never seen her before with my own eyes but I had seen a picture of her, so I kind of had an idea of how she would look.

 

Flashback.

 

We chatted a little while I was at work, exchanged thoughts and a few laughs, we agreed that I had something Danish called "black humor".

when I got off work I went straight home I needed to take a bath before picking her and some of my friends up.

We were going to have a small party.

While driving I tried to make an image of how I though she was going to look(let me say this I was already at this point very very excited to finally see her) and when I got to the bus station a few minutes before she was arriving.)

 

Flashback end.

 

I was shaky and nervous, I wasn't sure on how to greet her, but anyway I slowly walked towards the arrival area and suddenly something caught my eye, I somehow noticed something familiar and suddenly she was there right before my eyes, she had long dark silk looking hair, a beautiful face an she was just stunning, the image I had in my head was completely broken, I did never imagine her to be so beautiful, at first she did not recognize me from the pictures, but after I said her name out loud, she figured that it was probably me.

 

A few moments later we were all gathered and on our way back to the car, I tried to get her on the front seat but my hopes were too high, I was just somehow entangled by her, she was just how I would model a dream girl, if you know what I mean, not like a model or stuff like that many would imagine if they were told to imagine a dream girl but she was just a normal girl, but every inch of her just seemed to me like it was perfect.

 

Even her being kind of shy and silent it just made my crush on her even worse.

 

I’ve had this feeling 1 time in my entire life, and I still do have a lot of feelings for this girl, nonetheless she turned me down few moments after I send her that message and we’ve never seen each other since, it’s about 6 months ago.

 

Any good ideas for a name? maybe a few advices for me, I'm a complete noob when it comes to these kind of things.

IDK. I might be considered a wacky person, so my things might be named wacky.

I mean like I did reviews and "blog" posts about anime but stopped due to something personal, but I really do enjoy retelling the story with my own opinions

You're sure to make 1 blog with Anime/Personal life/Tech rather than 2 blogs, one with personal stuff and 1 with anime & tech ?

Sounds like a pretty good idea though but somehow really wanted to mix it all up, but I can see the point of splitting them

It's your blog of course, but if I would make a blog out of those 3 items I would split them.

 

For a couple of reasons:

1) If someone is looking for tech or anime, does he or she really want to see personal stuff ? (I know I don't)

2) People can be scared off by the personal stuff

3) Look at the long term. Maybe you are feeling not great at the moment, you change over time and might be moving away from those old emotions and thoughts. Do you want to deal with it by than ? Of course you can delete those, but still.....

4) Professional level. You don't want write about negative/emotional/to personal stuff on a blog that is focused on tech or anime.

 

Some things to think about:

1) What is your target audience ?

2) What is your goal ?

3) Future & Plans (or roadmap & directions).

4) Monetizing plans ? Sponsors (for tech ?) maybe ? (local tech ?)

5) Partners ? co-writers or contributors ? (this includes friends, family etc. but also outsiders)

 

I guess it's going to be a low-level blog, but still, there are some things you don't want to mess up when starting. It's better to start off good than to change the whole thing because you decide subjects are going to conflict and loose audience.
