FPS drops in CS:GO

Go to solution Solved by AlexWJD,

I have the exact settings as you do. What's then?

I honestly think its the recent patches. If you frequent reddit.com/r/globaloffensive , every day there is atleast 2-3 posts about people saying they get lower fps with each patch. I don't think its hardware mate.

Sup. A couple of days ago i started to notice that my fps drops to 100 and even to 60 during gameplay.

I thought it could be because of my overclocked CPU. My CPU was working on 4.3 Ghz stable during 6 months.

So i went to my BIOS and reseted all settings to default. But proplem remains. Dunno what i have to do to fix this.

If you can suggest what problem it can be, please tell me.

My PC specs:

i5 4670k (Corsair H110 Cooler on it)

GTX 760

8gb RAM

120 GB SSD (Windows and CS:GO are installed on it)

60fps is normal m8

No its not. CS:GO is a source engine, and 200 FPS is a good amount. You want your FPS higher than the tick count (128tick for ESEA), and OP might use a higher Hz moniter. This isn't BF$

O rly?

I suppose its normal in Tomb Raider 2013 on high settings and Full HD but in CS:GO on mid setting it is not fucking normal.

Try these settings (ignore the resolution) and see if its better. I hate to say it, but the past updates might have been decreasing FPS quite a bit,

The problem is not in the settings.

The settings affect FPS tho :(

The reason I recommend these settings is because the difference from low-high is hardly if at all noticable (and sometimes useless) and will increase FPS

Fuck. I reseted all settings in BIOS to default -_-

I've been searching for optimal settings for long time.
