video card damage

hi i have a question about a video card that doesnt work when i insert my video card in some pc the pc doesnt display anything but when i try a other one it doesnt work anymore with the original card so is it possible that a video card can damage the motherboard slot overcharge the power supply or do any kind of damage? and what should i do i dont have any warranty on it anymore
