Hello everyone.

you all probably heard of this problem a billion times now, but none of the solutions here or on TomsHardware worked for me.

Specs

GTX 970 G1 Gaming

Intel Xeon (-> no other GPU)

Samsung T24C350 over HDMI

FlexScan L568 over VGA with DVI-Adapter (pretty old monitor)

When there is a specific shade of grey  ;) red pixels flicker like crazy since today. It only happens on my Samsung 1080p60Hz IPS screen and it's not my GPU's fault, because there isn't any flickering on my second monitor.I ran Furmark and tried updating the display drivers.I also swapped out the HDMI cable without any difference what so ever. Could it be that the HDMI ports of my GPU or monitor are fautlty / dusty?

Here are some pics

Thanks!

Try a different HDMI cable.

If it didn't help change the ports.

Sadly it did not work, thanks though.

Try a different HDMI cable.

If it didn't help change the ports.

I did that and the other ports have the same problems. I just played a video directly from my my USB stick on the monitor and it turns out it's the monitor itself.

The idiot I am didn't think about restarting the monitor . I get now why IT-support always asks that first

Maybe pixel artifacting?

Is it just normal tasks where the dots appear or is it games
