R7 265, R9 270, R9 270X, HD 7850, HD 7870 and HD 7870 GHz Edition. Optimal performance is had with an R9 270, R9 270X, HD 7870 or HD 7870 GHz Edition.

 

As a side note, two R9 270Xes pair up against a GTX 970/R9 290X fairly well, a little slower but for $150 less (assuming the GTX 970 and 290X are new and the R9 270Xes are used. Not exactly fair, but the extremes.)

What cards can the R9 270X CrossFire with?

those cannot CFX, as they use the Fiji architecture
