Can pick up a CPU at Amazon for $11

You can pick up a Corsair PSU for $25 after instant discount and MIR

I have no idea what AM2 board you have so no idea how much DDR2 it can take

But basically it could leave you with quite a bit for a GPU of your choice at the end of the scavenger hunt

My idiot friend paid $50 for an AS IS Aspire M3100 at the pawn shop, not knowing AS IS means no refunds and the motherboard is completely shot. He asked me to fix it for him so he could at least play some newer games on low settings with it. Since I'm a nice guy I said I would.

I have an old AM2 Crossfire laying around but I need a good CPU/GPU to go with it.

For $50 it really wasn't a terrible deal but the case, card reader, HDD, and optical drive are really the only things worth keeping. I'm trying to keep the CPU/GPU/PSU/Ram under $250 if possible.

anything working in it?

Everything except the mobo works but it's complete junk except for the parts I mentioned keeping. The PSU seems like it's failing too.

Sir, you are a life saver! $11 for an x2 is insane! Not sure if it still is actually since it's so old but that will do. I can take 4x 2gb DDR2 but that won't cost much at all.
