Keyboard key swapped

Go to solution Solved by Bittenfleax,

From top left to top right my keys are as follows:

¬!"£$%^&*()_+

The first key is weird   How do I do the things you guys mentioned? Language is UK english as shown in control panel..

Change it to American then? Then test that?

I recently I bought my PC with CM rapid-i keyboard. I used it for a few days with my old laptop and didn't notice the problem(if i recall correctly).

So the problem is this:

When I press shift+2 it shows "

When I press shift+' it shows @

Somehow the keys supposed to be register swapped position. Can anyone help?

It is because your keyboard is on a different language setting. Just change the language in windows to your language/whatever your keyboard language is. (I think it is American, try that... if not English.)

Or you could try remaking the keys

I change to English (Malaysian) which fixed the problem. Thanks!
