Well I thought the day would never come that I would say "I'm switching to Intel!". Well after helping my friend build his first system and getting some good advice on here, I'm quite amazed at the performance of his build compared to mine! His little Pentium G3220 can go blow to blow with my Athlon X4 750k! So I've decided that I would start planning my new upgrade for sometime this year. So I figured I would come on here and see if anyone has any good suggestions for something that can beat my current build for around $200. I'm located in the US if that helps at all. The only thing I would like to upgrade would be the motherboard and ram as I feel my GPU, Ram, Power supply, and hard drive/ssd are great for gaming. Thanks for any help!

A G3258 and Asrock Anniversary motherboard in a bundle should be around that price if you want to upgrade. Your RAM is fine from what I saw in that build post.

Wow if this website, http://cpuboss.com/cpus/Intel-Pentium-G3258-vs-AMD-Athlon-X4-750k, is correct then that G3258 is a little beast! All together a G3258 and ASRock B85 Anniversary LGA 1150 Intel B85 would be exactly $137 with 3 day shipping! If I overclocked the G3258 to say 4.0 or 4.2 GHz would it be better then my Athlon overclocked to the same? I can only think that it would be cooler and not so loud as my Athlons stock cooler. Also would my ram still work fine in that board?

Is it DDR3? If so, sure it will. With a 200 dollar budget and 137 for those parts, you could afford a beefy cooler.

The only thing I worry about is the fact it say it only supports DDR3 1600/1333/1066 and my ram is 2133

It's 23$ overbudget. BUT, if you can afford it, this little beast will destroy the pentium in recent games. In fact, it'll even allow you to play certain Ubisoft titles that require 4 threads minimum to work.

Although I'd suggest waiting a while until Broadwell / Skylake releases. We should have an official launch date by the middle of the year.
