printer problems

I have a canon mf4500 series printer and can not print double sided when using google drive. I have formatting issues due to the documents I need to open being word documents and my only options being word pad and google drive. When in word pad I can print double sided but the text is only wing dings. My operating system is windows 7.

You should be able to print double sided with Canons drivers. You can choose to use system drivers instead of Googles drivers. I don't know what the link says in english/localization but keyboard shortcut is Cntrl+Shift+P. That opens your printer setup where you can adjust driver settings and so select double sided mode.
