U2713HM vs VP2770

Hi,

 

I've narrowed my choices between these two monitors and i need help to decide. 

Dell U2713HM and ViewSonic VP2700

 

The price is almost identical.

 

What worries me is that Dell has a lot of issues and i'm from Serbia - dont want to play warranty games. I would go for Dell if its that much better than VS.

 

I would mostly use monitors for gaming.

 

(i know 200hz TN panels 1920 are better for gaming, but i'm not considering this option)

 

Also, does anybody knows - is this ViewSonic Samsung PLS panel 8bit?

Yes it is a Samsung PLS panel..And yes the Dells have tons of issues..Also the Dell has 22ms of input lag where as the VS has only 7ms..But there are really issues with any IPS/PLS panel monitor as in BLB and Dead pixels..Dell has a better Warranty then the VS..

What would be your preference?

Do you have info about Dell or VS releasing new better 27 monitors this year in the same category?

Is there a possibility they will be 120hz and if yes, would they be much more expensive?
