Which setup

I have been planing a new PC build and I was curious if it would be worth the extra $150 or so dollars do switch from the Asus Maxamus Vii with an Intel 4790k to an Asus Rampage V Extreme with Intel 5820k CPU? I plan to keep this PC for a fairly long time, I would currently use it for gaming, fraps, twitch maybe, and running game servers for myself and friends. My budget is not strict but anywhere around 2k.

I would say no, spend it on a better gpu but, 2k you should be getting 2 290x or 980s so meh why not. A long time for me is 7 years. If you do alot of editing or work related things then it makes more sense.
