1. A good CPU.

2. A 4960K (OC'd a bit) and a GTX 970. (Really the best combo right now)

Though we don't know much about GTA V.

5800X3D - RTX 4070 - 2K @ 165Hz

Agreed CPU is more important. Its generally a lot easier to upgrade a GPU than a CPU.

A 4690k and 970 is a good bet too.

No GTX 970. NOT a GTX 960.

I can say a 970 can. But GTA V is not out yet. (So I don't know about that)

The 4970K would be the next upgrade. But the 4690K will do it just fine.

So, yes, it will.

Yes, a GTX 970. Unless your budget is higher, than get a 980.

i would go with a locked xeon, since it costs the same as the 4690k but since it has hyperthreading it peoforms better in streaming and rendering videos

Are you new to the forums???? read the Code of Conduct HERE WANT SOME AWESOME LTT THEMED WALLPAPERS??? check out XTanksSlayerX's wallpaper thread HERE

Not really. It is a flagship card. The 970 is the best bang for the buck. While the 980 is a shiny thing.

8GB is enough, unless you are a internet tab hog.

Budget for the case?
